The Somalis living in some parts of Europe have started helping their people back in Somalia after widely affected by prolong drought in the country wide.
These Somali Diaspora in Europe have opened a charity account to help the drought stricken Somalis in Somalia, and this was part of the decision reached after an emergency meeting was held at Norway in the Scandinavian.
Lady Zahra Mohammed Ali Samatar, who is the state Minister in the office of the Somali Prime Minister, has concisely talked about the meeting in Norway.
“The aim and objective of that meeting which was held in Norway was basically meant to help and salvage the drought affected Somalis, regardless of whichever regions they inhabit and the security of the country as whole” Lady said the state Minister in the office of the Somali Prime Minister.
The outcome of the emergency meeting in Norway will morally boost the minds and hearts of the Somalis in all over the world to take similar action to help their unable brothers and sisters in Somalia.
In 2 years period there were no rains in Somalia as whole and its immediate neighbour’s countries such as Kenya, Djibouti and Ethiopia and the people of these countries particularly the nomadic people have lost the entire of their livestock.
