Successful Leaders are in search of Wisdom.

And to every people there is a guide (a leader)

And we made them leaders, guiding (mankind) by our command and We revealed to them the doing of good deeds and performing the prayer (Salaat) and the the giving of Alms (Zakaat) and For Us alone They were worshippers.

And We made among them Leaders giving guidence under Our command after having been patient.

The prophet peace and mercy be upon him said: If those qualified and competent ones are your Leaders, Your Wealthy ones are unselfish and when Ye - Fair and Free - discuss and determine by choosing those qualified and competent, then living on the earth is much better for Ye than lying dead and buried under it.

Principle One:Part 1

Successful Leaders are in search of Wisdom.

"Give me therefore Wisdom and Knowledge to Lead this Nation"

What if all the Leaders did as King Solomon (Aleihi-s-Salaam) .
It's said that when Hen would take over Leadership after his father King David ( Aleihi-s-Salaam), the Lord (Allaah) revealed to Him in a Dream.

God said that He (Solomon) might ask for anything wished and He would get it.
Solomon then asked "Give me therefore Wisdom and Knowledge to Lead this Nation!"
When we ask for Wisdom to Lead, we are more interested in others' success than our own.

Our Leadership is difined by serving others and making difference in their lives.
When king Solomon asked for Wisdom and Knowledge rather than Fame and Fortune, He didn't get only Wisdom and Knowledge ,but also Something He did not ask for.
He got a Long Life, Honour and Wealth.

Have ever two goals in mind: Wisdom (i.e to know and do the right) and Common sense.
Do not let them Slip away. Because They give you Inspiration.

Wisdom is not the same as Knowledge, Experience and Intelligence.
Wisdom is more about how to use these qualities in an ethical and moral manner.
Wisdom is a deep insight of what is Right and Wrong, True and False or Good and Evil.
Something that every person has to evaluate through their life cycle.

Wisdom works as an internal Compass that Shows us the Direction of a World full of information and Knowledge in a high speed.
When we follow our inner Compass, it will then Guide us to act wisely and make good Decisions.

When we do what we - deep inside us - know is True, Right and Proper, we can then see our selves in the Mirror. Besides a good night's sleep, it gives us inspiration, self-respect and good conscience.

The one who can distinguish Right from Wrong and has a good Jugdement and Comprehension is Happier than the Richest person in the world.
Money, Stardom and Power are coveted in our time. It doesn't need to be anything wrong with it.
Yet the Money - as Solomon (Aleihi-s-Salaam) could have expressed it -is good Servant but bad Master.

When we Seek Money, Fame, and Power, we never get enough. We continue to constantly strive for more and more. King Solomon (Aleihi-s-Salaam) Describes Money, Fame and Power like this; "He who Loves Money never get enough and it's foolish to believe that Money and Wealth bring happiness."

What if we do not Consider Money, Fame and Power as an End in itself, but as means to promote through good work for a better future and better world. Money can create Opportunites. Fame can Open doors.
Power can be used to contribute to lasting Values which have Weight and Validity beyond the Ego.
It can also give the Life some Qualities and some larger Dimensions. But it can't give everything. So money is not everything.

Only Wisdom gives an eventful life and it's only those - who stand by it - are Happy.
Wisdom guides us to find a rich and meaningful life to discover what is valuable to us in long-term.

With Wisdom we can learn to manage our greatest success as well as our deepest adversities while we grow and develop as human beings.
To be Wise is to have gained a wider perspective on life and to have a sense of balance.
To have found out who you are, where you 're going to and what you you want to be during the journey.

It indicates perceptivity, common sense and discretion to be integrated and to be whole as human.
Wisdom offers a long, good life, wealth, glory, joy and peace.
With Wisdom we understand better our role as good Stewards of Time, Relationships, Wealth, and our Health.

We also understand better what true Success is and our resposibility to take advantage of opportunities we have in life. According to Solomon ( Aleihi-s-Salaam ) Wisdom seeker will find Inspiration and Rewards in all aspect of Life. Wisdom and Knowledge will namely find the path to your innermost and fill your life with Joy.
