The president of the Puntland administration Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Mohamoud Farole who has addressed at his political faction has told that his administration is carrying on talks. He said there is talks between Somaliland and Puntland state..

The president of the autonomous region of Puntland Abdirahman Mohamed Mohamdoud Farole who was addressing to his political party and he reiterated there is a talk between Somaliland and his state he said that they will exercise that his faction and Somaliland can together decide to secede or both of them come together of being joining Somalia government.


Farole has also talked about the Somali constitution and he has told that it is not needed the government only to exercise the powers of the constitution while it is illegal. He has called on the parliament of Somalia to share the powers of the constitution simultaneously.

As widely known there is no clear information that is concentrates whether there is a direct talks between Somaliland and Puntland but the people have the information that there used to be a bitter confrontations between both province that related to the expansion of each region.
