Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo, the Prime Minister of Somalia has Friday said that the fighting against Al-shabab would continue, just days after heavy war between rivals that was seized more military bases.
The PM said that the fighting continued in more different regions in country adding that the government had gained good victories over the latest clashes. Mr. Farmajo who had talked to the journalists in Mogadishu also called for the Somali people to take part the efforts planned for the restoration of the peace, stability and order of the country.
“Those who are fighting against the government are the enemy of the peace and Somalis. So we call for the Somali people to fully support the military operations of the transitional government of Somalia. We search the peace as you search, all of us we need the peace, so let us work together to achieve it,” said Mr. Farmajo
“We are saying to you to be against Al-shabab, because every body knows that those people do not want for the Somali people to live freedom. They are against the transitional government as well as the Somali society,” added Farmajo
The transitional government troops backing by the African Union troops AMISOM had fought with Al-shabab militias in parts of Hodan, Hawl-wadag and Daynile districts in Mogadishu and took over the control more military bases controlled by Al-shabab fighters earlier.
